HUD or heated windscreen

What's your preference

I chose HUD but am wondering if I've made a mistake.

Heated windscreen. HUD is a bit distracting to me in my opinion. I've never switch it on even mine CamE with it

After 3 years with my XC60 that was my 1st ever car with a heated windscreen I only used it twice ....... in 3 years.......
But must add my car is garaged.

So my new XC60 will definitely have HUD as the no-cost alternative.

Heated windscreen for me. The car is on my drive and in winter it's invaluable to get moving quickly on a frosty morning. HUD information is all something that's visible already somewhere else, so I see it as just replication of information I already have.

Living in Scotland, heated windscreen all the way. I would imagine that the further south you go, the less useful it is.

I made that choice and went heated, it was used a lot in the XC60, not just for defrosting but quick delisting without the fan turned up to 11.

HUD every time. I live in Yorkshire and the car is parked outside, but over the last 2 years I've rarely thought a heated windscreen would come in useful. When there is a heavy frost I use remote star to run the car for a few minutes. A quick wipe with the wipers clears the screen.

Never had the car mist up once that I can remember.

HUD seems to be a little marmite however, some people do, some people don't. If you've tried the HUD and like it, then think about how often you will benefit (every time you drive the car) compared to a few times a year for the heated windscreen.

I do love the HUD which I have. I have driven cars with the heated windscreen, and if you stare it those wavy lines long enough, its like you have floaters in your eyes.

Maybe if lived in Canada or its ilk,I might find the heated windscreen really useful.
Like someone said earlier, I just precondition the and car and I am good to go.
