Towbar and lpg

Notice my xc has a bumper cut associated with having had a towbar. I would like another towbar on for caravan bike carrier etc. So, was it removed due to the lpg conversion and can I refit one ?

There is no reason not to have the towbar with LPG and should not get in the way.

I have seen some S/V40's where the install has been botched and the towbar mounting point hacked away to take out the LPG pipes!

Cheers, thing is I don't want to book it in or even mail order a towbar to find it don't fit. Could do with some fitting instructions I guess, then I will have more idea.

Some brackets are bolted through the boot floor and will need the tank removing to fit and the tank can then be put back in.

Used towbars come up now and then so best get one first then have a look at fitting.
