Mods to shift driver's seat back a touch...any tips?
I'm comfortableish in my 245 (other than the aforementioned juddering!) But at 6'7" tall I find legroom could be marginally better. I've been considering altering the position of the runners/mounting points of the driver's seat by an inch or so to give me a bit more wiggle room knee-wise...has anyone else done this? If so, what is the best approach to take?
Any and all advice gratefully received, as always. |
Hi, I can't help you on the runners etc but you do know that the seat height is adjustable by way of a lever accessed behind the seat. Go into the rear passenger area and put your hand up under the drivers seat and a lever pulls so you can raise/lower the seat. Didn't know if moving this may give you a bit more leg room. Just a thought.

My dad did a post 10 years or so ago on how I did his seat for him. Search posts from Mike Brace

Hi gents, just a follow-up on this, I found the aforementioned lever under the driver's seat at the rear, gave it a tug and hey presto, I now fit comfortably! Very surprised and pleased. Thanks for all your help on it 😊
