That's terrific! Glad you found a local shop that could rebuild it for you. All the seals and bearings should have been available pretty easily.

Does anyone know who the local gearbox specialist was in this case? I need mine rebuilding too!

Transfer box seals

The transfer box on my friends 1999 V70 cross country is weeping at the seal with the castleated ring to the rear propshaft. Need to source the seals and also need to know the torque settings when re-assembling.

Can any one help please ?
