s40 key fob
 

hi. recently purchased a 2006 s40. can someone help with getting the key fob to lock and unlock the car please car came with only 1 fob, didnt have the key blade so had to get new one from volvo, they put new batteries into it the fob too but it doesnt work, is there a way to reset the fob any help grately appreciated

This sub forum is for the 'old' shape v/S40 from 1996 to 2004, as yours is an 06 you'll need this sub forum :)

If I remember correctly if you wait too long before replacing the dead battery the codes reset and you have to get the dealership to do their thing.
