C70 window calibration

I had a battery failure whilst the drivers door was open. Since then, the drivers door window works, but it will not go fully up when the door is shut. It goes up and down both in stages and auto. The gap is small, but enough to allow water ingress and to cause wind noise.

I have had a diagnosis, but it isn't showing any fault and the garage (a Volvo specialist, but not main dealer) has been unable to correct.

I have looked on the internet and have tried pulling the fuse whilst the window is going down and then trying to re-set, but to no avail. The garage did try by disconnecting the battery for a few hours, but again it did not reset to factory position.

Any help would be appreciated.

It might be the connection in the door. I had an issue with my passenger door when opened the glass would drop but remain dropped when door was closed. Got into the connection & sprayed with WD40. Has worked as it should do ever since. The connector unclips at the top and slides upwards to become free. I can't guarantee a fix but it worked for me. Also if you've got a small air compressor, give both sides of the connector a blast before the WD40. By connection I mean wiring harness. There is a you tube video showing getting into the harness. Search Volvo C70 Door Electrics. The video is of a C30 but looks the same as.

Here is one:

There are several methods considering the original source of the issue and I use "Volvo window reset" or Volvo window calibration" to find them
