It's big, and I'd worry about poor handling by Postman Pat damaging it. Probably be quite expensive to post as well.

make a box for it, use for example 2 bike boxes, free from any bike shop. Lots of padding, fully insured, tracked+signed for.
post office may well charge £20 or so.

I'm 180 miles away but I would be happy to drive down if needs be, but the price would need to account for this.

surely if you drive down its still 175 ... I get this all the time people buying things and want me to pay for their travel .. I don't get this ..the sellers being penalised for a buyers distance ?

Get it on Gumtree .. it will sell same day for your asking price ..

Just a harmless offer, I can just as easily order one from Volvo that will post it to me for £10. So yes, I'd happily pay £185 posted for it but if postage isn't an option then I simply cannot justify going that far unless the price accounted for that.

It's still in the original box, suspect some bubblewrap around the wing and back in the box may make it safer to post.

I was tempted, but then decided to buy a Whole car for £370 and use the wing (among other things)! Full leather interior, headlining, cd radio, door cards, wood effect dashboard. That's before I will keep other stuff for spares, like the petrol tank to filler neck clamp (always usually rotten on these cars) bulbs for lights and dashboard, wing mirrors, sunroof and motor, wipers, and anything else I fancy, then just weigh it in.
