insurance

hi, has anyone had dealings with adrian flux

alanoconnor May 17th, 2018 22:36

I phoned them for a quote 2 weeks ago on my S60 T5 before going with Tesco.

They rang me and said they had no underwriters in but would phone me back the following morning and spending 20 minutes getting the car details. They didn't call me back.

I arranged insurance with them, paid for this in full, A couple of days later they sent me an email, informing me my policy had been cancelled.I rang them for an explanation, they said they had tried to contact me,for information I had already offered them, they said it was not required. They seemed to think if I did not carry my phone every where, constantly checking for messages from them,I was in breach of contract! They obviously could have "Dropped me right in it!" I would not insure my dust bin with them.

Regards,Keith.

Tried contacting them for cover on my previously owned V70 with negative results, so gave up in the end & went with Direct Line who provide very competitive prices with a quick & professional service

Could not find me a quote for this XC60 because of age but I managed to find dozens on line

If you want a keen quote log on the Tesco website, use your Tesco Clubcard for a discount and play around with the excess ie. downwards. You will be surprised at the results you get.

Tesco here too.... second year and cheaper this year on the D5 :-)

£185 fully comp with myself and spouse driving with Direct Line. I thought this was a bargain.

When I had my Astra I was with Hastings. Bought my XC60 and they flat out refused to even insure me. Went back to Admiral who I’ve been with before and got it for like £680 for a year fully comp which is the same as I was paying on my old worthless Astra with Hastings so was very happy with that.

Can’t wait for the day for my insurance to end up under a couple hundred quid 🙄

I use Tesco for the Volvo and LVE for my Honda, Tesco are really good on Volvos!
Always search for premium prices two or three weeks before you need it as the quotes are cheaper.
