LED headlight upgrade
 

Does anyone have experience of fitting LED lamp bulbs into existing Lucas reflector units?
I have seen a couple of suppliers' websites with what looks compatible
H4 P43 t Classic white units.
Any knowledge out there?

Assuming you have H4 lamps fitted.

I have fitted some LED headlamp bulbs to my 240 (the Barge), which also has a H4 fitting:

... I'd have to say the result has been entirely positive on the Barge: much brighter and whiter lights and lower power consumption (as if that matters much).

I'm not sure I'd bother doing the same to GAM though, the halogen H4 bulbs are pretty good relative to the performance of the motor car and completely in keeping with 1960's motoring.
