gas guage
 

Hello everyone, I'm Joe new to site. I have a 07 S40 and just this morning while driving the gas gauge dropped to empty , and my miles read zero miles to empty. The gas light did not come on and car is running fine. When I stopped at a light it came back up, but went back down while driving. Any suggestions??

It could be a wiring issue, a faulty fuel level sending unit or maybe the contacts on the sending unit need a clean.
