460 headlights for N-reg car (1996)
 

I am looking for either a pair of headlights or a pair of the headlight reflectors for my 460 CD auto. The car is from 23-02-1996. The existing reflectors are not setting up the correct beam pattern and the result is an MOT failure. This is all that is stopping me from getting this otherwise good motor back on the road.

I hope that you all can help with this and await your responses.

I bought the last UK-spec'd NOS headlight and a NOS reflector from Volvo for a chap somewhere on the south coast of the UK 2 years ago ..... and he turned out to be a ######.
I will have a look to see if these will fit your car.

Just looked and what I have is for a pre 1993 car.....sorry!

Well, a headlight from a 440 has been sourced in a local yard. It fits fine and it is much brighter than the outgoing headlight. One of the beam adjuster screws has broken loose from the reflector so it may not get through the MOT. I will try to get it tested on Monday next.

So Clan and Dai, please continue with your efforts for me.

MOT re-test completed OK.
