Silverstone Classic - In field Club Parking
 

The Silverstone Classic is fast approaching and is a fantastic full on THREE DAY event at Silverstone Circuit.

The Club will be there for the very first time this year and there is still the option to buy Club tickets using the codes:

This means you will be able to park in field with the Club stand which is being managed by Simon Poole from the Cheshire Section.

If you haven't been, it is an excellent event.

Silverstone Classic 2022
 

Last weekend the Cheshire section set up and managed the Volvo Owners Club stand at the Silverstone Classic event.

Four of us travelled down to Silverstone in convoy and were joined on the stand by two other members of the VOC over the three day event, we also press-ganged a nearby catering trader to park his XC90 on our stand!

It really was a fantastic event with non-stop classic racing, entertainment and brilliant weather. There was even a high powered Volvo 242 competing in the classic touring car races.

This was VOC's first time at this event and was judged a success by everyone, we had a steady stream of visitors and admirers to the stand all weekend, sold some merchandise and signed up three new members to the club.

Hopefully the VOC will attend the Silverstone Classic again in the future, give it a try, it really is a memorable event and it'd be great to have a bigger number of Volvos on display.
