I don't have the physical dimensions (I think the S60 battery tray has two positions for two different sizes of batteries) but here's the amps and battery type for all Volvo cars from the 90's on (I haven't personally verified this information)

kinda correct but there's some instances to have beefier battery in the S60 petrol according to my volvo handbook:

Base Spec = 590CCA/60A
Cars with Dolby = 600CCA/70A
Diesel or 13 speakers Dolby or fuel heater or sat nav = 700CCA/80A

And a minimum battery height is needed for the V70 battery in the boot unless you want to pack it out like i had to with a bit of wood :rolleyes:
