Autobox, How reliable?

Hi Guys,
Not long had my 2006 S60 D5 with an auto box and 105k miles. How reliable are these boxes?
I called the dealer to see how much a gearbox oil change would be but they advised me that the box is sealed and Volvo don't recommend changing the fluid.

They are pretty good as long as you look after them , You are right to think of an oil change , also get a software update for it if you have not been near a dealer for years , it changed the way the gearbox works and fixed faults they have learned about in the past .
It is totally un true about the box being "sealed " and volvo not recommending an oil change , it is advised at 36000 miles if the car is used for taxi work or other arduous conditions . tell them !
You should be more worried about whether the cambelt and aux.belt and all their related tensioners and rollers have been changed at 10 years or 108000 miles …. If you have no evidence of that best get them done .
