Hesitation when initially accelerating (bogging down)

Just bought a 2006 D5 and it runs lovely. There are clearly some common issues (engine mounts are shagged and causing vibration at idle) but i'm trying to work out why the car seems to hesitate when accelerating. It feels like it is bogging down slightly.

The car shows no dash warnings, but as yet I have not scanned for any codes.

Thanks

Vida can communicate with and activate the swirl arm motor and the turbo actuator.
I'd be looking there first.

Ahh, that sounds painful. To expand on this slightly, the car can feel flat when putting my foot down. Like there is no response, and the effect of acceleration is delayed considerably.

Otherwise, it runs lovely and returns amazing fuel economy (indicated 52-55mpg on my run to work)

Symptoms would suggest something related to the turbo actuator. It 'feels' like the turbo is slow to respond. Perhaps the turbo vains are slow to respond for whatever reason.

It isn't causing me any issues, but it doesn't have the response you would need when overtaking.
