C30 service light reset help
 

Hi I have just bought a 10 plate 2.0 C3 0,the engine service required message comes up,and the " i " icon on on the dash.I have followed youtube video using the key to position 1 hold trip button position 2 then i flashes an beeps to confirm.But the light comes back on again any help is appreciated?

“Engine service required” is not the same as a maintenance reminder, it is an indication that there is problem. If the light goes out,but then comes back on, there is an issue with the engine that needs to be fixed before resetting the light. You need to pull the codes from it with and OBD reader, preferably a VIDA/DICE setup, to determine what is wrong, fix the problem and then reset the light...
