Uuable to send text messages
 

Hi
I have a problem with sending text messages. I have a sim card for the holder in the boot for data for the car and connect my mobile via bluetooth for calls etc but not for data use.
I can receive text messages which also display on the dash and they are read out as well. The problem is not being able to reply to messages, I can speak out the message but the system does not send it. Anyone had this problem and found a solution?

I had this a couple of times and thought, no signal - but there was plenty. No had a repetition since Nov total software update. May not be connected of course ...

If you’re using an iPhone then you can only send messages if you have it connected via Apple CarPlay. You can receive them fine, but Apple don’t allow the correct integration to send them through Sensus. Android phones are fine.
