On Call & Roadside assistance - query
Hello All,
We've purchased a selekt used XC90 & had it a couple of weeks - very pleased so far having come from a BMW X5 (E70) Just wanted some clarification on the Volvo On call subscription. When I spoke to the dealer they said I could easily activate the subscription via the website so I made a purchase and the website is telling me to 'swing by' a dealer for them to activate - does it have to go to the dealer or could they talk me through what needs to be done over the phone? My second question is Roadside Assistance - I'm assuming that if the need ever arose (and we were out of the 12 months cover) & we called via the Volvo On Call system - the assistance would be chargeable? Dependant on issue? Thanks Mark |
