Courtesy lighting roof fittings - Removal instructions

Hi all,

Does anybody have experience or even better, documentation on how to remove both the rear and front courtesy lighting modules/fitting from the roof?

I want to swap the bulbs for white LEDs but want to understand how the fittings come out the roof lining before I start ramming screwdrivers in everywhere!

I'm guessing a 'gentle' pull with a plastic tool on one edge will help reveal how it comes out but if I knew straight off it would really help.

Once again Correct, your getting good at this, the videos show the front one coming off, from the front first, being careful as you are pulling the unit away from the electrical connector . U tube (Mr Fix.info)

Morning all,

I managed to get the light fittings down, both very easy. The video Deck1ng suggested was useful, here's the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y10j2eJrjUI

I actually started at the back rather than the front like in the video as the front on mine was very tight whereas the back came out much easier.

The rear light fitting clips in at the sides and again was very easy to remove.

All the bulbs in both fittings use T10 wedges.

Attached are some photos to help.
