The only head rests that I have ever seen for an Amazon were in Black. I think that by the time they were required in this country ('68) that was the only interior choice. I think VP had new made covers for those in the various colors.

At any rate, I have a few black head rests around... Drop me note off list if interested.

That's weird, cos Paul H has some red headrests on his estate and I've got some red ones to go on my car. I bought them off Gerry............

Soren's probably got a few Alan, as well as Mr. Strangelove.

Here is a pic of my interior, complete with red head rests.

Am I correct in thinking that only the last of the cars had head rests and that these cars had the B20, which were not exported stateside? Volvo stopped making the car in 1970 but I think they stopped exporting to the US in '68 which may explain the confusion there.

Yes, you are correct that Volvo stopped bringing the Amazon's over in '68. And I think every '68 122 I have seen (wagon or two door) has had a black interior.

Amazon upholstery

Hi Alan122S, did you ever get your 167-502 seats sorted out? I am sure I will have a pair of those seat cushions and perhaps door card as well. Let me know if you still looking.
I am needing a pair of blue front seat backs - Code 176-524 for my 4 door Amazon. VP Autoparts of Sweden will supply new but for some reason this code is not included which is quite strange because it is a popular colour.
Cheers
Bob

just to add a bit more confusion!!
my amazon estate is a 1968 and has the tanned colour interior!
has anyone got a pair of headrests in this colour that they would like to sell?
