C30 belt driven power steering pump retrofit
 

I have recently bought myself a C30 SE Sport D5 and like the car very much, except for the awful electric pump powered steering.

Has anyone cured this by converting their C30 to a belt driven pump?

If so, could you please provide a link to this info.

The mechanical and plumbing parts of the job look to be simple enough, it would be the electronic compatibility "adjustments" that would be beyond me.
