XC90 DEM Fault

I have a DEM-0006 code along with anti skid fault. I've got a 12 volt reading at the plug connection into the DEM unit. Any help appreciated

i also have DEM 0006 which is a faulty pump , as i understand it this can damage the DEM . un plug and apply 12v volts to the pump and see if it runs if it does you may get away with oil and filter change and / or pressure sensor , this is the route i`m taking at the moment , may also be rear ABS rings

I'll be amazed if it will be "plug and play" lets know how you get on.

I got a "refurbished" unit from lucus @ volvodiagnostic.com. and can 100% recommend him.I have also seen him help others on the V70 P2 section,

Cheers

Same here.
Last year my DEM module failed due to water ingress, it caused a lot of noise on the CAN network, causing loads of other faults (ABS, Limp Mode, Transmission faults etc).

Got the unit reconditioned by VolvoDiagnostic for £100, and it was about £36 for oil and filter kit from Volvo.

Took the opportunity to strip and clean out the pump, all good.

I'm curious for a feedback as well. From what I've read online, only a few serial numbers are compatible, in other words a specific serial number will be compatible (plug and play) only with certain other numbers.

If its 56 reg onwards i assume u only need pump. Pretty common.
Also easy to check. Put 12v to pump plug. Pin1 12v pin 2 earth. Should hear if is running.
