Volvo sign on steering wheel / airbag

Hello everybody!

I have a little cosmetic problem. The Volvo sign on my steering wheel airbag is broken. Does anyone know, if this is changeable? And if so, is there a part number?

I can't find anything about this, so my guess would be, I need a new airbag...? If this would be the case, are there any companies out there, that can check an airbag? I don't want to buy a used airbag without knowing if it works or not..

Thanks for any input! :)

Thats where the airbag pops out of so I doubt it.

Thanks, I thought so. But on the other hand, this seems to be glued and it doesn't get destroyed when the airbag opens (thanks for the pic!).

I'll give my dealer a hard time in asking, maybe they find a way...

Some of the color of the label on my steering wheel was peeling off. I ordered a new sign from him

Am very pleased and it has stayed glued on for more than 5 years! Good quality :D

That's just the middle "Volvo" blue bit though

What about the surrounding Fe symbol?

But an exploded airbag (should be cheap, at best free) and see how the label is affixed. Maybe you can remove one from the exploded airbag and attach to yours?

My mistake - I see now the chrome shine makes it look (to my old eyes) like the surround was worn too.
