H7 projectors for V50/S40 for sale, 9mths old (UK ver)
 

Hi.

I will be selling my aftermarket projectors with H7 bulb base.
All info on projectors and photos from fitting process can be found in my retrofit thread:.

Projectors are now 9 months old and ofcourse fully functional with bi-xenon moving shutter. I will be selling them as I am now creating another retrofit project, using D2S versions this time, so I wont need H7's anymore.
Please note - those are UK/IRE/AUS version.

The H7 version is great option if you still want to use H7 halogen bulbs and want to replace old and burned out OEM ones. The light gain will be significant and car will still be fully legal.
Or you can ofcourse go with H7 HID route, as I did, and swap it back to halogen bulb for MOT.

As you know those projectors are plug&play so basic manual skills and torx screwdriver is all you need.

I wont be selling them for another 3-4 weeks so please keep that in mind, but putting the info out now if anyone is interested. If not, will put them on Ebay after I disassemble lamps.

I will be looking for 100EUR/90GBP for both + shipment cost to wherewer you like.
Will be packed in original boxes and are still 15months warranty left on them from manufacturer.

(if you are looking for H7 HID bulbs for those, I still have few brand new sets left for them so can add it to package for 10eur a set. Decent ones with metal base.)

hey LizardOfBodom, very interested in your D2S mod. This is for both the low and high beams? how would you rewire the current setup to work for a high/low setup on a single bulb? :thumbs_up:

The principles will remain the same - bear in mind my current H7 setup IS already bi-xenon. D2S will be wired exactly the same so shutter will be spliced with long-beam cable, as it is now. The main change is, bulb base in projector will be D2S so I will have no option of switching back to H7 for MOT/NCT, but thats exactly why I am building in on second set of lamps :) Once finished - I will have 1 set for D2S bi-xenon with good OEM xenon bulbs, and another set of whole lamps with original H7 projectors my car came with.

I am documenting my progress with photos as it evolves, but will post it all up after finished as its still long way to go, hence the 3-4 week timeline I mentioned :}

Lizzard - I missed your previous thread, sorry, you put a lot of effort into the work and the thread - good work and very informative!

UPDATE:

Projectors are now out and ready for their new owner.
Inspected them yesterday after taken out - condition is 100% perfect, not a sign of wear&tear or chrome/lens defrects - look exactly as the day I opened them new. Thats a good sign of quality product.
Still available if anyone interested but posting them on Ebay this week aswell.
