What is the best source for a new autobox overdrive relay?

Thanks to the wealth of knowledge already on here (and turbobricks) I've been able to identify that the reason behind my overdrive light staying on and my auto gearbox having only 3 gears was a dodgy relay behind the fusebox.

I took it out, cleaned it up and put it back in again - this appears to have cured the problem for the time being and it's switching in and out whenever I trip the button, however, I wanted to get a replacement in case it fails totally in the (near) future.

The previous posts on here that I read suggested the relay costs about £30-35 from Volvo and about £16 from other suppliers. I've just looked on www.partsforvolvosonline.com but I couldn't find this relay so I wondered whether anyone else has bought this relay from any other suppliers?

Thanks

Hi,

You should be able to pick up a spare or two from a breakers like Salvo or Braydons.
You can pick up a couple or fuel pump relays while you are at it as that is another known fail point for these cars.

Des. . . ;)

Thanks for the two names, and I agree that getting a spare fuel relay would be a good idea.
