Bike rack for 2018 XC60 (panoramic roof)
 

Hi,

I’m looking for suggestions for a rack or holder for up to 4 bikes. The dealership bike rack with tow bar is around £1700 which is too much for occasional use.

Would really appreciate any suggestions.

If your a member of the Volvo owners club you can get a discount of between 10-20% on the price of a Volvo towbar depending upon dealer. I've got a Buzz Rack Eazzy 4 and would recommend it with the exception that it takes a lot of getting used to install it on the hitch, its probably worth the extra £60 for the more premium makes to overcome this but the Eazzy does the job.

I have also had bikes on the top of the XC40 using the Volvo bars from Volvo parts shop. The major downside is the hight and if your putting 4 bikes on its difficult to get the middle ones down. I would recommend the Thule Pro ride carriers for the roof, really easy to fit on the volvo bars and easy to secure and lock the bikes.
