SC900 or SC901 wanted
 

My 3 disc changer has just detonated. :( Got a six stacker in the boot but I would like a 3 stacker in the car. If anyone has a burned out 900/901 for sale please let me know. If you have a working one that too would be considered.

Hi Marcel,

Thx for getting back to me. The 3 disc changer magazine mechanics are bent, twisted and many parts have had to be removed to keep the rest of it working. It needs a new internal CD changer mechanism. How long would it take to repair and what would be the cost please. Feel free to PM me if you want. I drive about 4k miles a month and some music is important to me!

We will repair the unit the day it arrives in the workshop.

In general it would cost less than £100.00 + vat.

Thx for replying. I tried to PM but there is this 30 post rule... :(

Do you want the entire unit or shall I simply remove the 3CD changer assy and pay you for a replacement mech assy? Most of the assy is CD loading is badly bent by a previous owner obviously trying to remove a magazine whilst in play or something.

If you need the entire unit I will get a harness adaptor made up so I can insert my Sony DVD head unit as a temp music solution.
