Replacing heater hoses -any advice or tips
 

I’m about to replace the 3 hoses from the engine to the heater (through the bulkhead) on a 144 Any advice, or tips

Will air bubbles work their way out? Or do I need to prime in some way?

Can’t find anything online regarding replacing the hoses

The air normally works its own way out

The hoses that go through the bulkhead on any 1-series Volvo are a pain to change due poor access. I cut the last ones off as they had sort of set onto the metal pipes: buy decent clips and lubricate the new hoses after cleaning up the spigots and they go on far easier (on an Amazon anyway). Those on my B30-engined Volvo 164 look as old as the car, so must do that sometime.....
