XC60 Momentum “Edition” T4
 

Just noticed that the Build tool offers a choice between Edition and Momentum Pro (or skip selection to continue with standard Momentum) if you select Momentum.

The Edition only offers one engine, a 190bhp petrol T4 costing £37785, which is presumably aimed at private buyers wanting to avoid tripping over the £40k tax threshold.

Looks like they've upped the spec with a few extras but obv it's a T4 FWD instead of T5 FWD for the same money:

Chrome Window Surround

19" 5 Spoke Black (Diamond Cut/Black) with 235/50 Tyres

Dark Tinted Windows - Rear Side Windows and Cargo Area

Smartphone Integration (includes Apple Car Play and Android Auto) with 2 x USB

Rear Park Assist Camera

Limited to just five colours (Osmium Grey, Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Fusion Red and Ice White)

These vehicles are being built at the China Factory and we're likley to see our first batch around Mid-Late October (we have around 13 of them coming in this batch)

Is it a special edition or will this be a regular model going forward?

There will only be a limited run of these as far as I'm aware, so yes, a limited edition model.

Can't help thinking that the shipping of this model from China will create a huge CO2 'debt' on this model compared with variants built on the continent.

Probably... just as well the Shipping CO2s aren't taking into account on what the end user is charged!.....

Wonder if we'll see a V90 Club, XC40 Bacarra, S60 Solar...

Apart from these are higher specification than the Momentum and offer a lower power 2WD engine - so if you're happy with the engine actually represent very good value..... yes... how shameful.....! :tongwink:
