** RESULTS ** NEW! National (Virtual) Car Show 2020
 

Unfortunately due to current circumstances the Club has taken the decision to cancel this year's National Rally and BKV.

However we will now be running a National (Virtual) Car Show for Club Members with details announced in the June Driver magazine.

As they say - watch this space!

Due to circumstances work wise atm i have not been able to renew my membership yet this year will this be available to non members as well

There is a lot of discussions and queries to sort out, particularly given the potential number of entries. (180,000 registered forum members! Although of course not everyone will enter)

Further details and how to enter will be made available to Forum Members and Volvo Owners Club Members as soon as available via the Forum and the Club magazine.

With all the BKV events cancelled this year, I think this is a good idea. Looking forward to further details of the virtual car show.

Still working on the details and the logistics of how it will work.

The Volvo Owners Club Forum Virtual Car Show 2020 is now open for entries
Due to not being able to hold the National Rally and BKV this year we are delighted to be able to announce the ‘Forum Virtual Car Show 2020’ - The competition will run from 1st June 2020 to 14th June 2020

The class structure is based on the model structure of the forum and in each ‘General Section’ for each model there will be an entry thread – Please post the two best photos of your car (a view which includes the front and a view which also includes the side – it is of course also acceptable that a photo is taken in such a way that both side and front are visible in the same picture)

As with all competitions the judges’, whom I am sure will do their very best, decision is final and please remember this is a ‘bit of fun’ in very difficult times and gives everyone the chance to showcase their ‘pride and joy’.

Good luck and we look forward to see all those wonderful cars!

We anticipate results will be announced by 31st July 2020. (Although hopefully sooner)

As a Club we are also very proud to support the NHS and we have a new limited edition Volvo Owners Club Pit Lane Shirts available and also the Volvo Owners Club ‘Stay at Home 2020 Rally Plate’ both of which include donations to the NHS Charities. Please support this great cause – details attached.

Question;

The latest edition of volvo driver, page 26, with details about the virtual car show(s) 2020 states that the deadline for entries is 30th June 2020, however, the description in the post above states entry deadline of 14th June 2020, can this discrepancy please be clarified.
