Any tweaks to minimise handling disturbances in crosswinds?

Hi all,
I recently got back from a 1.5hr drive home from work in my 245 in rather heavy winds...I noticed that the car was pretty heavily wafted to and fro by the crosswinds, to the point where it came close to changing lanes without my permission!

I've experienced similar with 745 and 945 cars I've owned, and I know that a car of this size and shape is always going to be susceptible to this sort of thing, but I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to help minimise or reduce directional instability in high winds?

The car is nice to drive and directionally predictable in normal circumstances, no pull to speak of and steering is nice and light, nothing to make me suspect a tracking issue or rack problems.

Lowering does help but I would not lower just for that reason.

Thicker anti roll bars will also help.

Thanks Dai. I'm not hugely keen on lowering it but would definitely consider thicker anti roll bars. Are these a big ticket item price wise?

Uprated anti roll bars are not cheap but there are some other options.

1) look for some used Turbo or GT ones or failing that just GLT ones. Anything thicker than what you have will help.

2) doubling up. You can with some extra brackets fit twin anti roll bars. Not as stiff as aftermarket in most cases but should be fairly cheap.
