164 sold on ebay today
I've just seen a '69 164 with provenance (but not in running condition) sold on ebay for a huge £3k. I know this car as looked at its transmission problems, but although the interior was very good the body wasn't. So does that mean provenance is more valuable than condition? Not with me though, but hope it gets restored rather than stripped of the interior then banger-raced.

Having a showpiece to “display” never made any sense to me. Why do we love these old cars? Yes, I’ve given up any hope of owning an AM DB5. But if I did, I’d drive it.
Got any old crystal from your great, great, great grandmom? It’s for drinking, not looking at. |
Any crystal from that far back might be worth selling an cash put into the AM fund!
