April 2019 Software Update

Hi.

Has anyone in the UK had the April 2019 update on their car?

If so, do you get this in the dash?

Amended messages in the driver display (12-inch) for the Start/Stop function. A start/stop symbol has been added and the texts "Ready" and "Off" have been removed. See Altered start/stop symbols.

I had my car serviced a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be missing it?

Thanks

My car was in the dealership on the 21st April for a few days to get software updates and I did not get the latest April update.

That page was showing "XC40 Only" up to yesterday for the April update

Precisely :) I noticed too.

My XC90 was is for its annual service yesterday and I noticed they had replaced the text with a symbol. The same as the one on the centre console button to deactivate stop/start.

There is also an option to enable ‘connected safety’ or something like that, is that new too?

I also got this when my car went in for a service. It uses mobile data and warns other cars of slippery surfaces ahead and vice versa.

My V60 was in on Tuesday for a few minor niggles to be looked at (most of which I suspect are software bugs), they said they’d installed all updates but this one wasn’t installed - I’ve now asked why not and if it’s available. Anything which improves the gear changes is good in my book!

Mine had this update yesterday and yes the stop start ‘arrow circle’ in white when not available and green when available has appeared, ‘ready’ has gone.

Gearbox is all over the place and needs to re-learn.
