P1800 spotted on FB, did this belong to a member?

As above, it’s sitting rotting in a garden somewhere. The VOC badge probably indicates it once belonged to a VOC member

K reg so might be an ES.

VOC badge looks the tidiest thing on it.

Given the amount of roof visible that must be an ES.

I saw this on facebook and did a bit of digging, yes, the original poster seems to be from the Bournemouth area so it's hidden away down there somewhere.
I looked at Karl Eric Malberg's excellent 1800 pictures website and unearthed a red 46 ES, 9K at the end of the registration number, driving lamps fitted, photo taken in 2007 at the Gaydon Volvo marque day. It's clearly deteriorated a lot since then, albeit a VOC badge has been fitted! (see photos) Probably only suitable as a donor car but who knows? a shame to see it like that though. Interestingly another red 46 ES turned up on facebook the next day in Suffolk but in seemingly far worse condition, for sale at £2k, perhaps enough to make one good car from the two! |

All the old hulks are being dug out of sheds etc etc and being advertised on eBay. Any old rust pile is fair game these days :D
