XC60 Servicing

Hi, does anyone know if the XC60 MY09, (D5 185) has a dashboard service indicator.
What is the service interval? - I have read that the D5 is 18,000 miles but is there a time constraint as well, i.e. every 12 months?

Also, am I the only person who will have to pay for servicing? All XC60s seem to have come with 3yrs free servicing. I was told that because mine was the dealer demonstator, the free service option was not available and would therefore not be available to me. Anyone else have an early (Oct 08) demonstrator and got this same problem? If you got the free servicing then I would like to know, to put a case to Volvo UK.

Thanks for any help.

18000 miles or 12 months whichever is earlier.

Mine is from new so can't help you with the free servicing bit.

Don't think there is a dash indicator either.

18000 miles OR 12 months OR 1100 engine hours which ever occurs first, which WILL show up as a message in the Instrument panel ..
