16" alloy wheels wanted for my stunning 245 se

Hi, first post on this community.
I have recently purchased my first 1992 245 se in white completely factory in what can only be described as outstanding condition and completely original spec...until last week.
I have fitted new 'GAZ' dampers and springs all round lowering the ride height and improving the drive immensely.
I am wanting to fit 16" wheels and would consider alloy or steel wheels, if they have tyres great! If not no problem.
I am based in Glasgow and could travel to pick up if not too far away.

Finding myself in the same boat. 16's are very hard to come by i'm afraid. Even the 15 Virgos are fetching proper money now.
Probably be easier to keep your eye out for scrappy 240/740/940 pre '96 with decent rims and then junk the car.
Other than that it's fwd wheels with spacers. Meh.
Good Luck...

I have some nice 7 x 15s (x4) fill the arches nicely, bought them for my 245 but going down another wheel route (not 16s mind).

I have fitted Virgos to a few none GLT's reducing the tyre size to keep the speedo ratio more or less accurate. Never gone up to 16" though.

These days I prefer 14" Scorpious as far as alloys go - just picked 6 up from Andy (OMC 47)

Cheers for the offers and opinions guys but I have my heart set on 16's. I have priced having new banded steels made, gloss black centres and silver deep dishes, probably 5" rear and 2" front. Costing the best part of £1000 with continental super sport contact rubber. Just thought I'd see if there was someone out there with something a bit different /retro but may push on with ordering new steels. I will however give this thread another week or so to see if someone can excite or entice me.
