can i drive a seater minibus i passed my test in 2008 24 years old

You would need to have category D1 on your license in order to drive a minibus.

is that the same for private use as that is only reson

I used to drive coaches and buses for a living .... with a few more seats than 12 lol , but will say what the previous person said .... you need Cat D1 weather its for private hire or pleasure use .

Yeah,if you want to drive a minibus on a public road you will have to have cat D1 on your license, it is requirement in law as is having the correct insurance to drive the minibus as it is a passenger carrying vehicle as in multi seat bus.

wot is the max amount of seats i can have coz now have 4 child the old volvo is proving to small

7 seat people carrier.
Has to be a family car or you could buy a van (transit) and fit the required number of seats, as long as it is not a minibus.
