I grabbed one of these before I bought the car but haven't gotten around to installing it. Is 200Mb sufficient for RTTI? That is the only thing I want it for.

Is there any catch with these. Completely free ?

Yup seems fine for me, with the odd app download I rarely use half of it, although I only do 7-8k a year.

worth a go, but I suspect you'll have to sign up to get charged something if you go over 200Mb?

I run one of these.

They are totally free with no card details required for activation (therefore no mechanism to charge you).

It's a faff to get the thing activated (as far as I can see you have to do it in a phone - I used an old mobile that I had lying around) but then worked very straightforwardly...

Well, I always think that nothing is ever 'free'; someone, somewhere is paying for it.

What seems to be going on here is that Three are paying for providing 200MB of data at the cost to the customer of their personal data...

Have one of these. Plenty enough for RTTI, weather app etc. Just stop the auto update of the maps otherwise it will swallow all the data in one go. Probably would not be enough for spotify.

I did the register thing with it in my phone but have had no emails from them as yet. So minimal data given by me.

So you get 200mb of data every month?
