Why did you go straight to EBay rather than trying to sell on here first?

Partly time constraints, partly wanting to keep everything in one place (rather than trying to manage this forum, some local Facebook selling sites, AutoTrader and eBay), partly wanting to get the best possible price. :)

If the car is good you can attract proper Volvo people here who will pay a proper price for a vehicle.

I really didn't want to be keeping track of offers from lots of different places, so I felt that just having on eBay and posting a link to it would make a level playing field for all parties and make my life a bit easier in terms of keeping track of everything.

If people on here want to pay a proper price, I'd be overjoyed. I'm happy for people to come and see/touch/lick/drive the vehicle. I would just ask that they make an offer via eBay to maintain transparency.

that I though putting it up here with a few pics might be a good idea. In fact I may even be toying with the idea of having a look at it myself.

Yes, I probably should have put some photos here too. Sorry about that. All the photos on eBay have been there since the listing started. I'd have added more, but eBay only allows me to have 12.

The OP originally posted on the discussion site seeking advice on how to market his vehicle. There was extensive discussion there, four pages or so, and the OP followed the advice that I and others offered, achieving a sound outcome and a very reasonable price for his vehicle. He has every reason to be pleased with the outcome so good luck to him and well done.

Perhaps Bogart you should read the posts on the forum on which you are apparently a Master Member before posting your unhelpful comments.
