New Volvo Concept Car shown on IAA
 

Hi!

There is a new Volvo being shown on the IAA in Frankfurt. It is only a concept, but I think rather pretty... Though it does share quite a bit with the A5 sportsback and the new Jags... :)

I'm actually liking it! Better than the "Mattin" Volvos (S60 II, V60, XC60, C70 and C30 Facelifts)... Kind of like a massive break in constant lines, if you look at how Volvo went from Wilsgaard (PV544/P121/100/200/700/800/900/V90/S90) to Horbury (S40 I/V40/S80 I/V70 II/S60 I/C30/C70 II/...). People screamed "dreadful" - now they are seen as more Volvo than ever ;)

I think anything would be better than the abomination that is the S/V60. Even worse that they let him desecrate the front end of the C70 and C30 as well. His only credible work is the XC60.

Take off the badge and it could be any Eurobox. Whatever happened to Volvos distinctive quirky design. (Old stick in the mud) :)
