Boost cut? What chips you running?

It could also be spark blowout.

STAGE 3 bijisma chip

What plugs are you running and what gap have you set them to?

Have you checked the cam timing is correct (front pulley not slipped)

where is the electronic actuator to cut the boost? This is a 940 on LH2.4 we are talking about here not something modern.

What I imagine you are referring to is fuel cut caused by the air flow threshold.

Steerfromdarear Sep 29th, 2023 22:36

I double check the plugs tomorrow what do you recommend

classicswede Sep 29th, 2023 23:02

NGK BPR7ES and gap to 28 thou (0.7mm)

baggy798 Sep 29th, 2023 23:05

Technically it is positive pressure ('boost') that causes it to cut.😝

No the air flow meter is on the intake of the the turbo so the sensor does not see any boost pressure. What it sees is air mass
