V60 Cross Country
 

I'm looking to buy a new V60 Cross Country, does anyone here have one? What are they like as a daily use vehicle? I'm thinking of getting one in Rich Java, I like that colour

Rich Java is a great colour

I had one last week as a courtesy car whilst mine was being serviced.
A pretty capable car, although it didn't inspire me. Wife did comment on how nice the suspension was.

I haven't look into it are they all AWD old D5 engine, actually this was an old D4 AWD, ok once it got going...

Good car at the right price perhaps, but I wouldn't expect much in the way of mpg, think it was around 30, which if courtesy cars are anything to go by should be the worst you will achieve.

I've just been offered a D3 V60 CC NAV Lux with City safe, tinted windows, F/R parking sensors, reversing camera, space savers wheel, winter pack for 30k, they've knocked £8500 off the price and all they need to do is slap on some number plates. It's got the 150bhp lump in it, I'm quite tempted to have a punt at it.

They left the price on the back seat of the one I had, had only done a couple of thousand looks like it on Selekt for 28k and that was def a D4 AWD. There's another 2 for sale 6 mths old £25k.

5 grand, that's a new kitchen!

If you are buying new go via Carwow. Bought last 2 cars via them. I got a 27% discount on my present car.

After a discussion with her who will be the main driver we're going to hold off for a while. Carwow did give some encouraging prices though however, the offer I was given yesterday was an off the cuff offer. The V50's gunna have to shuffle on a bit longer.
