C70 Door Locked LED

A bit confused today locked my car(C70 series two) up when I got home tonight and noticed that there was a red glow inside the car.

It seems that the locked door LED's are not going out when the car is locked

Is this normal?

Sat in the car and locked it and after 24 seconds there is a click I think that is the alarm time out delay. BUT still the door 'locked' LEDS stay on.

I know on my V70R that they go out and I have never before noticed that the C70 ones are still on

HELP PLEASE

Mine stay on for a few minutes after locking the car, but then go out.

If they're staying on for more than 10 minutes or so, then that may indicate a problem (or a setting that I haven't discovered yet).

OK thanks

So suspecting this is not a unique problem and that I am not the first with this issue

Delving further I find that it is the roof module that is causing this issue

So back out to the car after spending about an hour digging and looking online for this issue, surprise surprise it is all over the web.

I find these threads here

So I go back out to the car and well what would you know the door locked LED's are OFF NOW!!!

Also, I noticed that now the door locked LED;s are off the Alarm activated LED on the top of the dash is flashing at its normal about once a second rate, previously on reflection it was flashing at a faster rate while the door locked LED's were on, so I guess this is an alarm 'fault' indication

Not yet been out to the car this morning to see

1. Is the battery at 12V and will the car start.
2. IF the battery is still good and the car starts. To see if I still have this fault with the door locked LED's

Cars are so much fun now NOT!!!!

Watch this space

thanks

Well today its pouring, so I can't play with the hood to see if that changes anything

Car started no bother and went for a wee drive just to top up the battery

Locked car and went out to her about 30 mins later door locked LED's off

So played around a wee bit and then locked the car and set my phone to timer for five mins time up so I went back out to the car and LED's OFF!!!

CARS!!!!!

Don't you just love them when that play silly games

will update later if anything changes

thanks
