Try to get hold of a copy of Vida 2014EWD, it has all the wiring diagrams for all the models Volvo built between 2004 and 2014; it runs directly in Windows 10.

You should be able to download a copy from the internet using this search term:

Volvo "EWD 2014D" download

The factory alarm system is behind the dashboard on the o/s everything you need is there boot bonnet doors central locking and deadlock and indicators I remember that the doors are all separate for the puddle lights so you will need 2 diodes

True, but probably the easiest route would be to replace the central locking/alarm module including a pair of fobs from a breaker - the siren module is located on the firewall in early C70 models & mid year 850's or in the front RHD O/S wheel arch in P1 V70's and post 2009 C70's and is the same one as used in the P2's.

I fitted a Clifford concept 650 with intelli start 5 and smart windows plus used a channel output to relay for a turbo timer but yes as you state a control module and remotes from a breaker may work mines a 1999 v70 r one thing I did notice is with the control module unplugged the car will not start so I left it in place not sure if the none start meant that the module is coded

The 850 and C70 central locking/alarm receivers are not coded to the fob The fob is coded to the central locking unit and can be switched between 850's and C70's.

Keys are coded to the car.
