Auxilliary belt tensioner

Evening all,
Had the timing belt, pully, idler and auxilliary belt replaced at my local independent Volvo specialist last Friday. It's an S40 1.6 2003 saloon. The garage has advised that there is "slight play" in the auxilliary belt tensioner pully. Is this something that will need sorting urgently or not? If they fail suddenly what are the consequences? Many thanks in anticipation.

why didn't they change the Aux belt tensioner? there is supposed to be a bit of play on the tensioner pulley wheel so that it can self align , if there were no play it could ride off or cause premature wear of the belt and pulley surface ...

Thanks Clan, that's reassuring to know. They charged me labour only as i supplied the parts myself ( bought from FRF ). My fault as with hindsight i should have also supplied the aux.tensioner pully. Thanks Dave
