Creaking Noise from steering
 

My April 18 XC40 diesel First Edition had recently started making a creaking noise from somewhere down forward in the wheels or steering rack area. It is only audible from inside the car during very low speed manoeuvring such as during parking. Before I take it to the garage I wondered whether this is a common problem?

First report on here I think - Have you done any off road driving or wading in your car? Water can remove grease in bearings and you end up with a grinding low level noise from the suspension.
