Volvo V60/S60 Nokian Winter Tyres & Wheels
 

It’s approaching winter again… Time to put your nice alloys away for a few months and fit Volvo steel wheels (16 inch) with Nokian WRD3 All Weather Plus tyres 205 60 R16 96H XL BSW. Bought new in September 2014 and removed from car in March 2015 – no discernible wear. Complete with black wheel trims which camouflage the steel wheels well (see photos).

In the case of my R-Design V60 with 18 inch Ixion alloys the switch to the winter setup gave a much smoother ride while keeping the delicate diamond cut wheels out of harm’s way for a few months!

Total cost new just under £600. Offers around £380 for the set of 4 appreciated.

Hi, I'd be tempted to say 'as good as new' but will check when I get home tonight. Do the photos help if you enlarge them?

Tread depth looks to be 6-7mm typically.

Tempting. And to clarify these fit and replace a V60 Rdesign with 18" wheels?

Hi - yes the steel wheels and winter tyres were a direct replacement for the 18 inch Ixion alloys with low profile tyres, the calculation of the diameters of both sets comes within the approved limits (can't remember the precise figures but the wheel & tyre websites confirmed this too).
