V40 2016 Rear Bumper / Diffuser Upgrade to R-Design
 

Hi All, Looking for help and guidance please on upgrading the rear diffuser / bumper to be the twin tail pipe R-design.

I recently bought a 2016 V40 Inscription but really like the look of the twin piped R-Design (& before it's said "should of bought the R-design", I came across this Inscription at the right price and fully loaded with all the extra toys so it was a no-brainer to buy & I love it).

Will it be as easy as swapping the rear diffuser (keeping the original colour coded bumper) and swapping the rear exhaust silencer box?

I do know I need to get one with the parking sensor holes but unsure if the actual bumper differs between the one that takes the standard full length bottom trim and the one that takes the diffuser with twin exhausts.

Any help an other tips appreciated

I was hoping you had a reply to this as I just asked the same thing in another post after searching through forums trying see if a 2017 R Design diffuser would fit a 2015 Nav Lux SE. I can't see Volvo changing the shape of the rear bumper but i'd really like to find that out if it can be done. All the best with your car, first Volvo i've owned, never realised how good they are :)
