Some of the manufacturer's details can be seen in the pictures.

It was for a 4 cylinder car and has the ECU and injector block for that.

Cheers.

Price? If it would be suitable for a 940 lpt

GreenBrick Jun 19th, 2016 18:16

£250 all in. The nozzles are the only bit that I fitted, everything else is as new.

(I paid £650 for it all)

It is good for 250 bhp.

Cheers

Matt

I won't turn down a sensible offer though :-)

classicswede Jun 19th, 2016 22:36

Yes that would work on a LPT

Would it work on a 1989 240 glt with b230e engine?

James

classicswede Jul 7th, 2016 20:12

It will not as the GLT has mechanical injection and the tank will not fit.

The front end could be used on late model 240's with LH2.4
Will fit all LH2.4 740's
all 940's
1.6, 1.8 and 2ltr s/v40 (exluding GDI engine)
all fuel injected 400 series with a change of tank
360 with B200E engine again changing the tank

GreenBrick Jul 10th, 2016 20:33

Thanks for answering that so well for me!

Summary...

It works with cars that have an electronic fuel injector for each cylinder.

It has a torroidal gas tank that fits in a horizontal spare wheel well. It hasn't got a hollow in the centre, so any fixings/humps etc will need to be removed, leaving a flat bottom to the wheel well.

lpg

is this still avaible????
)
what is the capacity of the tank????? (liters)

GreenBrick May 22nd, 2017 12:18

Bump!

This is still available, and this is one of, if not, the cleanest fuel to run in an a standard internal combustion engine, and the fuel is much cheaper.

Iirc, I have a 60 litre tank (filled in torroidal type).

LPG Kit

Is this still available? and if so do you know it would fit a 2001 XC70.

GreenBrick May 31st, 2017 12:07

It is for a 4 cylinder petrol car up to 250 bhp, which is why I have not fitted it to my V70 :-(

Is yours a 5 pot also?

lpg

Well I have been at looked at one that I fancy but was hoping to do something to reduce the running costs. Thanks for getting back anyway

GreenBrick Jul 4th, 2018 12:44

Another BUMP.

This is still available, I am open to offers.

It is suitable for multipoint fuel injected 4 cylinder cars turbo or non-turbo up to 245/250 bhp.

At fuel costing only 59 pence per litre, this will pay for itself in well under a year, which is a lot better than solar panels!

Not sure about the brains, but you can fit it to 5 cal if you get another injector. Those look like valtec. They not long lasting ones. Around 20k

classicswede Aug 25th, 2018 01:14

No it will not fit a 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 16 cylinder engine

It will work on engines with 1,2,3 or 4 cylinders

GreenBrick Aug 26th, 2018 21:21

That's right, the ecu is a 4 cylinder one, made by ESGI.
