'95 850 T5 estate auto for sale
1995 Volvo 850 T5 estate for sale
Lovely green with contrasting cream leather interior. Heated electric seats, all working. 88k miles but the odometer stopped working about 50 bloody miles ago!! A spot of googling says this is fixable with 2 new cogs! I have MOT's going back the past 8 years or so to substantiate the mileage. It is MOT'd till February 2013 and taxed until the end of September 2012. Cambelt done last year. Lots of bills and full service history, most of it with Volvo specialists. I will get more pics of the history file up soon. Now the problem.... There is a problem with the brakes... It requires about double the foot effort to brake.. Its fine for normal driving and ive used it as it is for the past few weeks with no trouble. My mechanic has looked at it and says its the ABS ECU. they can be picked up on eBay fairly cheap, but as I have picked up a new car (well almost, next week!!) I do not have the time or inclination to sort this out. She passed her last MOT last Feb with no advisories. There is a fair bit of squeaking from the plastic around the rear tailgate and it is definately loose (the interior plastic, NOT the tailgate!) Must be a common problem as you can get a fixing kit on eBay for £10. It really is a cracking car and seems to be rare at this mileage. All I have done since buying it, is fit new front wipers and fit 4 very good part worn Unisport Rainsport 2's all round. They have around 4-5 mm on all of them. 4 keys, service history, manuals, plenty of bills and recipts, etc. Almost forgot!! It has a working Nokia car phone fitted too. The engine runs and boosts beautifully. Ill get plenty of pics up soon.. £500, no offers.. This will simply allow me to make my money back.. Pics to follow!! Oh and its a 7 seater!!!! I will send you my number. I wanted to add a few bits as well. When I spoke to my mechanic be explained it like this. There is pressure into and out of the master cylinder. There is pressure into the ABS unit (I now assume he means pump) there is pressure coming out of the ABS unit through all pipes except one. This seems to be causing the problem. All brake themselves have been checked, it had a new caliber last year in one side and nothing is seized up. Thanks James |
